Florida Georgia Line’s Boy Band Inspiration

Firsts Concert For Brain Kelley And Tyler Hubbard

The late '90s were a great time for the Florida Georgia Line Brian Kelley. He was also a very good time for the Backstreet Boys. But first ... Kelley.

Somewhere around 1997-1998, the future member Florida Georgia Line was in sixth grade when he had his first experience of a great concert. You could even say that inspired he to be the live act is now.

Kelley admitted in a recent radio interview that one of the first shows that ever happened was a kind of by accident.

"Do not judge me," he said. "I think it was one of my first when I was in sixth grade and we had family friends -. And I was a friend of the child and that was the birthday of her sister - so we slipped and invited us to go to a concert Backstreet Boys ".

Kelley did not specify what show he saw, but since he is Florida Florida Georgia Line, going to guess that took place somewhere around Jacksonville.

But Kelley was not just a crazy fan boy band in the late 90's he admits he took a Lonestar show back in the day.

The other half of the band, Tyler Hubbard said his first concert experience was probably something a little different.

"It had to be in the Christian kingdom," he said. "I think it was like Casting Crowns, Third Day perhaps. - One of the two"
